Financial Process Architect in Somers, NY

HFM Investment Project Experience with standard process/methodologies such SDLC,Root-Cause Analysis, Change Management, Work Intake. Successful candidate will have
a mix of skills in this area and apply them to manage the HFM project which Corporate
Systems is executing on behalf of PI. Role will be IT owner of project and will
need to manage the project to success. Successful candidate will liaise with Business
PM. SMEs, GTA, Vendors and Consulting partners. Project will include implementing
Oracle/Hyperion System 9 HFM system to replace legacy Hyperion Enterprise application.
Solution will centralize the financial reporting system that exists today at 56
field locations outside the US. Role will have a project lead supporting and minor
consulting engagements as needed. PM will need to be very hands on and need A to
Z ownership of activities. Additional direct reports are being evaluated. Hyperion
Center Of Excellence (COE) Candidate will need to research and design the appropriate
support organization to receive application post go-live. As part of this accountability,
existing Hyperion support in other areas will be evaluated for inclusion into the
new COE for support. Candidate will need to proactively engage other areas within
PBSG to make evaluations on where synergies and opportunities exist and work to
finalize the support organization by go-live. For PI HFM support needs of international
user base need to be explored mix of US vs non-US support to cover a 24x7 model.
Language support needs to be evaluated and addressed as well. General This role
requires an attitude of IT as a support service there will be heavy customer engagement
with a wide array of business partners from junior to the most senior. Expectation
management and solicitation of customer feedback will be key. Additional value added
skills are: -Polished communications skills (will be interfacing up and down the
organization) -Client and Management Expectation Management -Service Orientated
Approach -Negotiation and Diplomacy skills must be able to manage in a matrix
