The Test Group Manager is also responsible for all aspects of human resources, such as hiring, firing, career development, performance objectives and performance reviews. Experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Math is required. Masters Degree is highly preferred.10 years experience testing large, complex software systems (15 Years overall industry experience) 5 years of experience leading a testing organization or large test team. Fluency and experience with testing methodologies, tools and processes is mandatory in this role. Established automation solutions for regression testing, including tools, test data beds and processes is required. Good understanding of the overall SDLC process/methodologies is essential.Experience in / knowledge of securities processing, investment management is required.Working knowledge of testing documentation standards is required. Experience in complex technical environments with many applications, both distributed and mainframe. Working knowledge of testing documentation standards is required.Experience designing, implementing and maintaining test environments Completion of an software testing certification program is highly preferred.S/he will have an understanding of the subject matter for which their group is responsible. S/he must be comfortable interacting with team members, Senior IT Management, and Senior Business Management and skilled in delegation. S/he must be adept at building and motivating technical teams and possess ability to build strategic relationships and influence people at all levels of the organization.
