Business Analyst (Web Project)

Our client, a downtown based web publishing company, has an immediate need for a Business Analyst on a long-term consulting basis. The Business Analyst will be a key member an enterprise-wide project that will be consolidating the group websites. The end result will be an environment that maintains fewer websites that each have more dynamic functionality. Other projects including new application deployments and content management systems. <br>
In addition, the Business Analyst will work closely with multi disciplinary groups, from upper-level management to lower level users to gather and analyze systems requirements for the new application and systems deployment. The Business Analyst will also act as a liaison between the technology and business teams, working daily with developers, publishers, product come up with effective and efficient next-generation solutions. The candidate will also play an active role in providing input on web development solutions and assisting with QA.

Experience: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:<br>
-2 + years of work experience and experience with requirements gathering and analysis. OR Strong communication skills and technical background<br>
-Strong web publishing or web development/quality assurance background preferred. Specifically, with HTML and Dreamweaver.<br>
-Knowledge of the systems development life-cycle is a huge plus.<br>
-Working exposure in an application development environment.<br>
-Excellent communication skills are required.
