SAP Basis
SAP Basis administration and technical core competencies tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, applying Support Packages, installation add-on software components, SAP profile parameter changes, workload analysis, system error analysis and establishing standard Basis background jobs and system health checks and monitoring. SAP NT and SQL Implementation ExperienceAssesses impact of new SAP releases to current system landscape environments, design solution and assist production support teams in deploying the solution.
Experience with SAP Solution Manager. Implement and support SAP development and production systems. Analyzes system performance, database performance, system health checks and implements tuning improvements, establishes OSS and EarlyWatch connections where appropriate.Participates in multi-landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations, client strategies for continuous improvement.
Maintains multi-landscape environments through client copies, system refreshes, transport management.Performs Server database administration including upgrades, patches, monitoring and tuning, SQL trace analysis, optimal database layout, disk layout and database reorganization.Responsible for optimal disk layout, file system structures, OS tuning/performance improvements, and troubleshooting.Provides technical consulting to application development, functional, rollout, integration and change release management teams.Participates in technical projects across multiple teamsInvestigates and participates in new technologies and solution from SAP and associated software vendors.
Skills Required: SAP BASIS Administration (3+ years), SAP experience (5+ years), XI Experience, Micrsoft SQL Server and 2003 Server (2+ years, Java (J2EE).
