Trafficker - MediaVest IP/Internet Media (Continental Airlines)
This candidate will be responsible for trafficking for the entire Continental Airlines online campaigns, including the campaigns that were handled by our media team as well as the campaigns that were handled by the Continental Airlines marketing/sponsorship team.
A requirement for this position includes attention to details, ability to juggle multiple projects, ability to handle/manage various data and ability to understand different ad serving and Rich Media technologies.
Area of Focus
Working closely and harmoniously with the internal media team, the client, the publishers and the technology/Rich Media vendors. Understanding how data get tracked and reported by DART and/or Rich Media technologies. Understanding different ad types and knowing how to set up ads appropriately. Keeping records of all Continental Airlines campaign ads and URL's.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of DART (DFA), MediaVisor and/or Atlas.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, et. al.).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Management & Process
- Keep track of all Continental Airlines' ads (both graphic and text-type ads) in the Excel database file.
- QA and set up ad files in DART to issue ad tags.
- Send ad tags and trafficking instructions to sites.
- Work closely with the media team on any new buys or buy changes.
- Work closely with the client's team on any media opportunities that they receive.
- Keep track of any media opportunities that come in from the client.
- Follow up with the sites to QA ad tags.
- Work with various Rich Media vendors on getting ads developed with our DART tracking.
- Issue DART reporting log-in's to site personnel.
- Work with sites, DoubleClick and/or Rich Media vendors on any major imp. discrepancies).
- Participate in the status meetings to report on the updated status on all active campaigns and projects.
Reporting
This individual will report to the Digital Ad Operations Assistant Director.
Other Characteristics
Key skills needed for success in this position (in addition to area expertise noted above):
Strong people-skills and friendly personality - Operations Manager will be working with the internal media team, the digital ops team, the client, the sales and the ad ops personnel at various publishers and various Rich Media vendors. Strong data management skill and advanced Excel skill. Great with details while understanding and not losing sight of the overall processes.
