I'm looking to fill a 6 months slot. Looking for somebody with linux/unix background who's also well versed with Windows/AD environments. Somebody who is a jack of all trades to be specific - needs to be able to work on intel servers (upgrade), implement a new backup system, and also help improve existing environment. Below is a brief on the tasks that would be involved:
Augment existing technology staff in the delivery of day to day systems administration.
Assist in the deployment of a remote KVM infrastructure to support server environment.
Assist technology staff with the deployment and management of a new backup infrastructure.
Provide consultative insight in the development of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Scenarios.
Assist in the design and development of new technology infrastructure to support business requirements.
Engineer and assist in the deployment of a redundant Checkpoint management station.
Provide training for existing staff to support future deployments.
