We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for an interesting long-term consulting engagement with opportunity for client management and project management of a major SAP system that includes support, enhancement and new module implementation at a multi-billion dollar organization.

Description:
Through this Project, BearingPoint supports the Port Authority's SAP Financial system and also implements enhancements/new SAP modules to help the Port better meet its business needs through SAP. The Port Currently has the core SAP Financial Modules (GL, AP, FA, Purchasing, Inventory, etc.) as well as Corporate Financial Management. BearingPoint has been providing this work at the Port Authority since 2000. We recently were awarded a new contract that extends the project through 2010, with an option to renew for another 3 years beyond that. The core contract includes supporting their current system, as well as implementing new functionality. We are currently initiating an upgrade from 4.6c to MySAP ERP 2005 as well as implementing SAP Real Estate. Future implementations will likely include SAP Billing as well as Supplier Relationship Management, and Business Warehouse
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years managing engagements, with at least 3 years managing multimillion dollar SAP projects.
- 5+ years as a project manager
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP is desired
- Ability to manage clients, consulting team members and subcontractors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Located within the NY Metro area or willing to relocate to the area for the position
- Willing to commit to a long-term assignment at the Port Authority
