SummaryProvides non-technical support and technical support on all TSYS Prepaid's security programs and processes. This includes, but is not limited to, leading projects, sharing knowledge with colleagues, managing relationships with other areas of the business and with the parent company, security model updates, logon id terminations, monitoring and reviewing access violations and security maintenance reports, and other duties as assigned. Analyzes business and/or technical requirements to formulate a project plan. Performs risk assessment and scenarios to mitigate risk while still meeting required timelines. Performs analyses and issues resolutions of business and project requirements.ResponsibilitiesWorks independently. Assists with the development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of all information security standards, policies, and procedures. Interacts with internal and external auditors to ensure that corporate security systems have appropriate level of internal controls and sufficient evidence of controls. Ensures compliance to corporate Information Security policies through audit reviews, department briefing sessions, security education, and other methods as appropriate. Ensures all approved implemented processes and access rules are followed and IS guidelines are adhered to regarding all or specified security systems. Enforces IS policies through the department provided management violation reports, security education and awareness, and taking appropriate action when security issues arise. Serves in the capacity of subject matter expert (SME) when answering questions or providing guidance on complex projects to internal and external customers (i.e. other departments and clients). May negotiate project dates and business and resource requirements with internal and external clients to ensure project timelines are met. Provides On-call support for assigned systems under the responsibility of the department. Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues. Education/ExperienceFour-year college degree and 6+ years professional experience or 8+ years professional experience is required. Requires strong technical background in various data security and related products and concepts including, but not limited to, Linux and Unix operating systems, client/server applications, Windows Terminal-Server based applications, Linux server and desktop applications, Open Source tools such as iptables, nmap, Nessus, and Snort, Cisco IOS and Catalyst OS NOSs, Internet/Intranet (firewalls, web sites, and browsers), anti-spam and anti-virus tools. UDB (DB2 on Unix) experience preferred. Professional certification(s) preferred. CISSP highly preferred. Extensive customer relation experience preferred.
