BASIC FUNCTION:
As part of M&T's Default Reporting division the Database/Reports Specialist will provide report generation, developing report when necessary on a timely and adhoc basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Database/Reports Specialist will compile and provide monthly status reports
Track and monitor pertinent departmental information
Research data analyze database requirement, and develop databases
Maintain assigned database to include but not limited to downloading, routine programming, converting from one software program to another, and resolving errors/problems
Complete special projects to include all aspects of the project from development to implementation/finalization
Perform other related assignments as requested by management
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree or above or 2-5 years professional experience in a related environment
Strong knowledge of Mainframe and Web based applications
Proficient in the use of excel, work, access or crystal reports
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong data interpretation skills
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1 to 2 years default mortgage experience
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
Ability to work independently and function as a member of a project team
