Title: Systems Management Specialist
Location: Rochester, NY
Shift: flexible to work weekends and off-shift and available for 24x7 hot-pager rotation
Description:
Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of supported servers.
Demonstrates proficiency in all related technological skills (details below).
Addresses and resolves problems in a timely and pro active manner, including implementing preventive actions.
Performs planning and execution of scheduled changes, including written change installation and back-out procedures.
Provides insight and feedback to all leadership positions regarding current support issues.
Assumes primary responsibility for one or more items in the team skills matrix.
Participates in team hot pager rotation to ensure 24x7 support coverage for steady state accounts.
Weekend and off-shift work is required on a regular basis.

Operating System
Windows 2000/2003 system administration
AD administration
Windows Security
In depth troubleshooting
TCP/IP networking
VMWare support a plus.
