Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, test and support low-latency, real-time programs.
Collaborate with development team members to ensure high quality, low-latency operation of product development.
Collaborate with Senior Architect and development manager in the design and implementation
Collaborate with QA and application support teams to ensure client satisfaction
Experience: Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related degree
5+ years software engineering experience
2+ years combined of the following: Java, real-time trading, messaging systems - TIBCO EMS, MQ Series, Active MQ or other equivalent
Required Skills:
Software development
Real-time programming
Concurrent, distributed programming
JAVA Threading and sockets
FIX / XML
MS / JMX / Swing/JFC GUIs
Sybase/Oracle/JDBC Infrastructure
UNIX / Linux / Solaris
Application servers (Tomcat, weblogic, websphere)
Strong project mangement
Strong people management skills
Strong verbal and written communications
Experience with the following a plus:
Agile / rapid application development methodologies
Technology - Javaspaces, Gigaspaces, Hibernate/Spring/XDoclet, JUnit, C++
