Title: PeopleSoft Financials Security Manager

Salary Range: $75-85K

Full Time Employee

Summary

This position will provide leadership and expertise for maintaining all areas of PeopleSoft Security for PeopleSoft Financials including: users, roles, permission lists, and other security functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop new policies and procedures for PeopleSoft Security to maintain compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations

Update all areas of security to accommodate changing business requirements.

Maintain the security administrator manual that contains a comprehensive description of security policies and procedures.

Adhere to and enforce the security policies and procedures described in the security administrator manual.

Manage the quarterly certification process that certifies PeopleSoft users and their assigned roles.

Apply knowledge of best practices to Security setup and processes.

Provide support for any of the following PeopleSoft Modules: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, General Ledger, or Purchasing.

Requirements

Minimum two years of PeopleSoft security experience; including hands-on experience supporting PeopleSoft Security.

Minimum four years of PeopleSoft functional experience; including hands-on experience implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting Financials Applications.

Understanding of PeopleSoft Application Architecture and the various integration points.

Able to think creatively and to apply knowledge to solve problems.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within tight time deadlines.

Team player.

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft Security functions including: user-id setup, roles and responsibilities, and permission lists.

Experience in providing software support for PeopleSoft Financials or other major ERP package in any of the following modules: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, General Ledger, and Purchasing.



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

BA/BS from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, business administration, business operations/information systems management, computer science or related field.

Four years experience in Financial Systems Security and Implementation Support, systems planning, implementation, maintenance, reporting, and/or problem diagnosis; or any equivalent combination of experience.
