Responsibilities:
Candidate will work with the I/T Team. Responsibilities include both strategic and tactical development of the data architecture.
- Responsible for translate business requirements into enterprise data architecture solutions.
- Design and build conceptual and logical model for business applications and data warehouse initiatives.
- Design relational databases and develop database applications.
- Implement data Quality assessment, performance tuning and optimization.
- Work with database administrators and development staff to ensure consistent usage, data standards and quality of delivery.
- Provide oversight for all activities related to database, data quality and data consolidation using standard data modeling methodologies and processes.
Required Skills:
- Strong data modeling skills
- Proficiency with modeling tools (ERWin is Preferred)
- Strong database design, development, testing and turning skills
- Hands on relational database programmer using Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL and analytical functions
- Working experience with UNIX environment
- Proficiency with UNIX scripting languages, such as Shell or Perl
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Communication skills and team player
