Vb.net Developer with derivatives experience in New York, NY

Genesis10 is currently looking for a Windows VB.Net Developer in New York City.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Developing and supporting report solutions for the global business products using SQL Server 2000.

- Ability to work in a dynamic fast pased environment with high visibility to the business and the ability to learn about credit derivatives business.
Experience: - Windows VB.Net Skills a must

- Client/Server GUI application development experience required

- Experience with reporting tools

- Infragistics for Windows Forms a plus

- Knowledge of data manipulation using stored procedures and Transact SQL

- Must have strong attention to detail and experience producing high quality VB.Net code

- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

- SQL Server 2005 a plus

- Experience in data warehousing using MS Analysis Services a plus

- Team player

- Knowledge of derivatives & especially credit derivatives a plus

- Ideally come from a banking background
