Our client, a publishing group, has an immediate need for an ASP.NET developer on a consulting basis. This group has undergone a recent overhaul of their core intranet systems. The ASP.NET developer will work on a small team to enhance applications based in VB.NET to increase their functionality and enhance their efficiency. This is a great opportunity for a junior ASP.NET or VB.NET developer to gain valuable experience in a mission critical production environment. Some SQL Server development experience is preferred but not required. Junior candidates are encouraged to apply.

Experience: The ideal candidate will posses the follow skills:<br>
-Experience programming with the .NET framework, specifically ASP.NET and VB.NET<br>
-Experience with SQL Server 2000 or is required.<br>
-Exposure to SQL Server 2005 is a plus but not required.<br>
-Experience enhancing already written applications is required <br>
-Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently is a plus.
