Basic Function:
As part of M&T's Trust Business Support and Project Management team, the Project Analyst IV would participate and be responsible for  the gathering and analysis of information for defining business and functional requirements, functional designs, testing and implementation of the final project. Aside from project services, this position also will entail to assist with day-to-day support of the Trust business and processes at M&T.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate, on a project basis, the definition of business/system functional specs, the design,  testing and implementation of a project.
Assists the client in addressing problems/issues of any scope.  Analyzes information, determines feasible solutions and make recommendations.    
Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations to fulfill business requirements.  Converts business requirements into functional specifications and functions designs. 
Plays a key role and an individual contributor on projects.
Coordinate the development of project plans, including all required activities, estimated effort and timeframes
May project manage small to medium scope efforts and coordinate tasks.
Adheres to all current standards and procedures and ensures all efforts are properly documented.
Develops test plans and scripts; performs client testing for routine to complex processes to ensure proper system functioning.
Provides consultation services to clients, technicians and Bank departments on basic to intricate functions of supported mainframe or distributed applications. 
Maintains a thorough understanding of the business being supported and its functions, processes, operations and strategic direction. Maintains a detailed functional understanding of the supported applications.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in technology/systems analysis.
Proven analytical, project management, organization and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact with personnel in various organizational positions.
General knowledge of personal computers, and the ability to proficiently use project management, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Requires a good understanding of the Trust area's functions.
Demonstrates a good understanding of the business area's functions and operational environment.
Detail oriented, self-motivated; takes initiative to learn new skills and enhance overall knowledge.
Able to work effectively with client personnel in various organizational positions.
Quickly grasps new concepts.
Asserts ideas, encourages teamwork and acts as a role model when leading or directing others.
Able to handle multiple tasks in support of various assignments.
Very Good project management skills.
Able to lead or actively participate in vendor demonstrations, project presentations, design sessions, etc.
