Experience: A privately held Asset Management company is seeking a programmer who can improve a process data collection and market-data processes using C#, MS SQL and VBA. In one project a real time P&L feeds directly out of Bloomberg but the process as it is taking too long to feed the realtime fuctions, thus by the time some data is calcualted it is out of sync with the market. Also needs to be converted into a robust db where that can be queried on multiple variables.
The financial prodcuts are mostly equity related though some deal with bonds or simple interest rate futures. Financial experience is not required but is a big plus.
Provided the successful completion of the initial projects, it is likely more projects will be given to further enhance and refine tools the traders use.
