A well known investment bank in the New York City area is looking for a desktop support analyst.
General Purpose: Support build-out of workstations in new mid-town facility.
Job Description: Members of team will either: (1) walk the new building and install (25 stations/day) both line of business profiles and market data applications in workstation computers at new location; or (2) provide desktop application support to existing team of market data traders.
Experience:
Requirements: 3 - 4 years experience in providing desktop application support preferably for a financial institution. Personality and excellent communication skills are "huge". Must be a real "go-getter" with polished customer service skills.
Plusses: Ideal candidate would have 1 -2 years experience providing desktop application support for traders' Market Data applications (Bloomberg, Reuters).
