Our client has an immediate need for a Desktop Support Analyst, responsible for computer hardware, software and network support for the company and its customers. As a Desktop Support Analyst, your responsibilities would include: performing technical service and repair at retail location and client sites, assisting in sales and customer service, and contacting vendors to obtain resources as necessary. Additional responsibilities include completing administrative tasks such as order processing, inventory, progress documentation and appointment scheduling, as well as staying current on emerging technologies. Some technical documentation will be required.

Experience: To be considered for this position, the incumbent must possess the following:
&#149; A.S. in Computer Science or 2+ years work experience
&#149; CompTia A+ and Network+ certification
&#149; Experience in desktop, notebook and server repair and network support
&#149; Working knowledge of various operating systems including Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP and Windows Server 2000/2003
&#149; Strong customer service, problem-solving and written/oral communication skills
&#149; Experience in technical writing, including documentation of technical procedures and end-user instructions
&#149; Microsoft and CISCO certifications, telecommunications experience, and Mac repair experience would be helpful
