ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
1. Must be able to develop/create the most practical page layouts based on:
Follow a pagination for item placement on pages
Images in proportion to each other on a given spread
Following spec sheets and checklists
2. Manipulate computer generated images using digital imaging software to develop 1, 2 and 3 dimensional images for inclusion in the catalogs.
3. Following spec sheets & checklists for standards as provided and suggest changes & updates when necessary to accommodate new product and current industry trends.
4. Maintain and organize all files of projects worked on that are stored on the file server and work closely with Digital Archivist on the archiving and retrieval of files.
5. Understanding of four-color printing process and have experience designing according to printing restrictions/limitations.
