Genesis10 currently has an opening for a Data Business Analyst to perform data source assessment, analyze documentation and pull data. This is likely to be a 2 month assignment and will be located in New York City.
Duties include:
- Assist in developing conversion approach and detailed scope analysis
- Assist in producing testing plans and review of data quality issues
- Assist in migration execution
- Assess data architecture
- Develop test cases and test execution
- Analyze, understand and document conversion scope requirements including approach
- Assist in developing and delivering the future operating model from a business and process perspective
- Work with platform build team Business Analysts to understand data quality impacts on future state
- Assist in definition of conversion Strategy, includes conversion scheduling.
- Document test plans, timelines and test scripts.
Experience: Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of:
- Business processes and finance operating model within the US Domestic arena.
- Finance business function, processes, methodologies & technology platform
- IB, AWM products and processes
- Understanding of reference data and implications to system development
- Experience documenting and validating business requirements, functional specifications, system and data flows
- Communication & Presentation skills with good relationship management & stakeholder engagement skills
- Some exposure to project management skills e.g. project lifecycle, project initiation, project control, best practices.
- 5 years + proven project business analyst skills & delivery track record
- Proven experience in data analysis
