<b><u>Windows Systems Engineer to Start ASAP </u></b>
My client is in need of a Senior Windows Systems Engineer that has been working as a Systems Engineer for 5+ years. This position is for a consulting position that has the definite potential to go to a permanent position. The Systems Engineer should be able to come in to the environment and be able to work on existing projects and provide feedback for future projects. Disaster recovery planning, server configurations and builds, hardware purchases are all involved with this project <br><br>

Experience: <b><u>Skill sets required: </u></b><br>
•Able to manage MS Server/Exchange 2000/2003 environments <br>
•Experience with IIS, Sharepoint and MS SQL Server <br>
•Strong understanding of Linux (Redhat, Debian) Tomcat and Apache servers a definite plus <br>
•DNS server builds <br>
•MS Server buildouts, configuration and support<br>
•Solid understand of DHCP and networking protocols <br>
•Monitor system logs and activity on all servers and devices<br>
•May lead or guide the work of other staff engaged in similar functions<br>
•Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings<br>
•Coordinate with development team to schedule releases of software updates<br> <br>
