BASIC FUNCTION: 
As part of M&T's Telephone Banking Center, the Project Analyst IV would be part of a team that would assist Telephone Banking Departments in addressing problems/issues of any scope. Would analyze the information, determine feasible solutions and make recommendations.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations to fulfill business requirements.  Converts business requirements into functional specifications and functional designs on any scope assignments.  Play a key role and an individual contributor on projects.
Develops or oversees the development of project assessments and plans to include activities to be performed, estimated timeframes and effort.
Maintains a thorough understanding and working knowledge of the business being supported and its functions, processes, operations and strategic direction.
Participates in planning and implementing new policies and procedures that will improve the performance and effectiveness of the department.
Adheres to all current standards and procedures and ensures all efforts are properly documented.
Oversees the development of test plans and scripts; performs client testing for routine to complex processes to ensure proper system functionality.
Provides consultation services to clients, technicians and Bank departments on basic to intricate functions of Telephone Banking supported applications.
May project manage small to medium scope efforts, direct junior resources and coordinate tasks.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of two to four years of college with at least six years experience in a business, technology, systems, or operational support environment. 
Reporting and Database specialist with expertise in MS Excel and/or MS Access.
Requires strong analytical and communications skills with the ability to understand development processes, procedures and methodologies.
General knowledge of personal computers including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office database and spreadsheet programs. 
Detail oriented, self-motivated, takes initiative to learn new skills and enhance overall knowledge
Able to work effectively with personnel in various organizational positions.
Able to handle multiple tasks in support of various assignments.
Asserts ideas, encourages teamwork and acts as a role model.
Excellent project management skills.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Banking experience preferred
Has Call Center/Process flow experience.
Demonstrates a high aptitude for complex problem analysis and resolution.
Understands development processes and technical concepts.
Demonstrates a good understanding of the business area's functions and operational processes.
General awareness of the Bank's application framework.
Ability to lead or actively participate in vendor demonstrations, project presentations, design sessions, functional specification walk-throughs
