I. Position Summary:
Manage a team of Network Engineers within the IT Network Infrastructure Services discipline, who provide network infrastructure to JetBlue.
II. Essential Functions:
Manager, Network - Specific Functions
? Ensures highly reliable and available network
? Ensures accurate capacity tracking by Network Engineers
? Monitors internet access server (IAS) which is used for VPN and external web access
? Manages IAS Microsoft firewall
? Enables Engineers to excel
? Manages Engineers in their careers/technical development
? Mentors team members
Manager Level - Core Functions
? Assists Crewmembers in prioritizing new development projects, enhancement projects for existing systems, and systems maintenance projects
? Interfaces with IT Station Crewmembers for projects in Blue Cities (i.e. gate move, ticket counter move, new ramp office)
? Works closely with project teams, vendors and other groups to coordinate plans and activities
? Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change
? Provides guidance and assesses requirements for additional services and promote use of IT services, where appropriate
? Makes recommendations regarding scope, timeline or budget changes/improvements
? Manages a portfolio of multiple projects simultaneously, potentially across multiple business units
III. Minimum Qualifications:
? Bachelor's Degree in related discipline with specialized leadership training and/or demonstrated capability through previous experience and education to perform job responsibilities
? Four (4) years management experience
? Five (5) to ten (10) years experience in industry preferred
? Avaya certifications
? Network-related experience
? Experience supporting remote agent call center
? Regular attendance and punctuality

? Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
? Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
? Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
? When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
