Job Description:
The base salary for this position is 80-100K with the bonus paying 10-15% yearly paid out on a quarterly basis.
Bonuses are 10-15% of base salary
No H1B/no third parties - no relocation -
There are 5 people on the infrastructure team. There are 125 servers in production 40 internal servers. There are 80 components to our custom applications. We have three data warehouse, two off site. The typical day is 9-6/7 with some 24/7 on call work. This team is the one that comes in on the weekend if there is production issue, they do work more that most of the other technology teams.
Systems Engineer
We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our a team of systems engineers in the development of high scale, high performance web applications, designing systems solutions for implementation by a local or a remote team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deploy applications on systems supporting (SDLC,) DEV, INT, QA, and PROD.
Support all facets of production: environment, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Ensure proper system configurations.
Share with developers the ownership for the deployment process of new applications.
Active directory users/security/group policy/TCPIP best practices.
Maintenance responsibility for IIS administration.
Provide documentation and versioning of server and application builds.
Skills and Qualifications:
The following are the minimum requirements for consideration.
BS in Computer Science or related major.
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Considerable experience installing and maintaining Windows Server OS.
Extensive experience performing custom web application deployments.
Skilled at scripting VB/VBS.
Considerable and successful track record deploying large scale custom windows-based applications.
Substantial knowledge of and experience with new server builds.
Enterprise Storage experience.
Expertise with server hardware.
Substantive and verifiable data center experience.
Administrative tools native to Windows
To enhance your candidacy, you should also have:
WMI a big plus.
MS SMS.
Hyena.
Knowledge of .Net and C# application environment.
MS Clustering.
Experience:
