Responsible for development and maintenance of web based systems for claims inquiry, customer service, eligibility inquiry and update etc. Will also be responsible for supporting our existing web based and client server applications.
A hands-on IT manager with at least 5 years experience in developing web based applications. Knowledge of insurance is a plus especially pre-certification, claims, and eligibility
Experience: Full Systems Development Life Cycle experience
At least 3 years experience developing applications in Websphere/Java
Experience with middleware that allows web based applications to access mainframe CICS applications etc in real-time
Ability to supervise a small staff
Expertise in Relational Databases. DB2 UDB is a plus
Excellent written and communication skills
Knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project
