A high-performance order management, routing and connectivity provider with related market FIX networking products is looking to hire a Linux / UNIX Helpdesk Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will be interested in computers and software as well as learning about financial markets. Along with this interest candidates must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as the position is a vital representative to clients nationwide. The Client Helpdesk Support team is committed to maintaining an excellent reputation for service. The support group is composed of self-motivated individuals who thrive in a team environment and enjoy the challenge of real responsibility. Helpdesk representatives are trained to have a thorough understanding of products and services with a working knowledge of Windows technology as well. In turn, offering a superior level of service to clients and providing a career path within the company. Successful candidates can move up the ranks within the first year based on performance. Candidates must have the following minimum background / experience to be considered. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, computer literacy which includes working knowledge of PC's, Windows, UNIX or LINUX (REQUIRED) a four year college degree in computer science, knowledge of financial markets and investing a plus, but not required (will train).
