Responsible for continuing the development and loading of the Data Warehouse from the source systems(claims, eligibility etc), the creation of data marts to support reporting, and the development of systems and processes that will allow the end users to do some of their own reporting using tools like Crystal Reports. .
Experience: A hands-on IT manager with at least 5 years of experience in developing Data Warehouses and end user reports
In-depth knowledge of Crystal Reports
Knowledge of Data Mining tools like Cognos
Significant expertise in reporting against Relational Databases like DB2
Ability to work with non-technical end users to help them in the use of Crystal Reports against their data marts
Ability to develop a data dictionary for the end users
Ability to supervise a small staff
Knowledge of insurance especially claims and eligibility
Excellent written and communication skills
Knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project.
