Job Title: C++ Labview Instrumentation Software Designer
Responsiblities: Support software development and assist in hardware and software integration of airborne and lab based data acquisition systems. Background in digital hardware design to perform design, checkout and Integration of signal interface assemblies. Interface with subcontractors in development of airborne data acquisition systems for application in E-2C AEW aircraft and laboratories.
Requirements: Experience in one or more of the following software areas is required: C++, LabView, VxWorks, PC Windows applications. Experience in design of systems for data acquisition from one or more digital busses such as Ethernet, SCSI, Fibre Channel, sFPDP and 1553. Responsibilities will include support of environmental testing, lab and aircraft system integration & debug, operation and maintenance of the equipment in support of instrumentation requirements for the E-2C Program. Position will require travel to subcontractor, government and other Northrop Grumman sites to support system integration and test. Minimum of five years experience in software and hardware design and integration.
Education: BS in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Computer Science.
