SAP BASIS Administrator in New York, NY

****GREEN CARD/ US CITIZENS/ TN VISA Candidates ONLY Our Client has 2 openings - one is for Senior BASIS Administrator and the other one is for mid-level Basis Administrator. The qualifications are similar for both the requirements except for the number of years in experience. The years mentioned below are for senior basis person. REQUIREMENT: - Responsible for all aspects of a new SAP Implementation project, including active participation during the architecture and design phases, system installation, software patching, database management, performance tuning and transport management. - Assume a lead role in working with other administrators, the configuration/development team and project managers. - Responsible for the daily operation and support of critical 24x7 SAP (FI/CO) and B/W system. - Define and manage SAP system landscape. - Install, upgrade, clone, and perform transports. - Define, implement and document work procedures, standards and methods. - Coordinate technical activities with developers, configuration team, DBA?s and datacenter support staff. - Monitor SAP performance on a daily basis. - Perform capacity planning on database. - Plan and execute Disaster Recovery tests. QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, as well as Oracle administration. - Must have participated in at least 2 full lifecycle SAP projects, from blueprint to go-live. - Strong understanding of SAP client management strategies and SAP transport system. - Understanding of ABAP & Netweaver. - Must be willing to work evening and/or weekends if required. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills. - Ability to solve complex technical problems quickly and efficiently. - Bachelors Degree in computer science or a related field. - Minimum years of experience: 7 years Apply directly at: ?r=gad To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
