Currently we are seeking a SQL Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team in our New York Business Unit.
Candidates must be willing to travel (local and occasionally out of area) work independently and be interested in a full time position.
This position will be responsible for establishing overall reporting strategy; (SQL 2005) design and implementation of data models; development of reporting standards and templates. A combination of technical and business knowledge is a must.
Experience:
* Develop and support reports built with Microsoft Reporting Services and cubes built with SQL 2005 Microsoft Analysis Services.
* 5+ years experience as a SQL Developer is Required
* A solid working experience with SNOWFLAKE schema and STAR schema for data warehouse storage and reporting
* Use other SQL 2005 tools like Management Studio and SSIS
* Very strong Data Modeling skills (Data Warehousing exp a plus)
* Ability to work independently with business to understand requirement & build reporting solutions
* Evaluates the requirements for new modifications to reports and data structures, and implements new reports while working within the established guidelines, standards, methodologies and conventions for reporting writing.
* Experienced technology professional with a focus on design and implementation of reporting solutions from a technical perspective, including knowledge of reporting data structures and ETL concepts
* Experienced with data warehouse concepts and implementations
* SQL 2005 and SQL 2000
* Strong experience with MDX a plus
* Have experience with OLAP Tools such as Business Objects, Analysis Services, MS.NET & DTS
