PeopleSoft Senior Developer - Interface in New York, NY

The Sr. PeopleSoft Development/Analyst-Interfaces will be primarily responsible for ensuring the quality of the interfaces, any related-software-architecture and the vendor?s modifications to the system, as well as any associated custom development, to meet the City?s functional and technical requirements and enable the Agency to operate and maintain the software application in a cost effective manner after the implementation. The Sr. PeopleSoft Development/Analyst-Interfaces will also be responsible for data/code analysis, review of Technical Designs, development, customizations, unit testing and bundling/un-bundling documentation of code using PeopleTools 8.45 and Oracle 9.2x Platforms as it relates to any existing and new interfaces. 1. New Functionality Releases: The PeopleSoft Developer/Analyst-Interfaces will be responsible for a subset of the development, customization and integration work for new PeopleSoft 8.X Interfaces and ensuring minimal and workable impacts to existing Interface Functionality 2. Existing Functionality: The PeopleSoft Developer/Analyst-Interfaces will be responsible for development across multiple environments, related to modifications to existing Interfaces and their impacts to functionality including analysis, code changes to existing interfaces and modifications necessitated by data clean up, functionality patches, upgrades and business process changes 3. Agency Rollout Support: In support of Rollout to Agencies, the PeopleSoft Developer/Analyst-Interfaces may be required to create conversion and interface/report programs as well as online code objects to meet with Agency requirements.? Experience working with PeopleSoft Implementations in a government or civil service environment. ? Experience In knowledge of Peoplesoft Payroll, Pension, Applicant Tracking / Job Requisitions, Variable. Compensation, Salary Budgeting, eRecruit and any other Self service modules. ? PeopleSoft Certified Developer status. ? Experience using STAT. ? Experience developing in a mainframe environment utilizing: TSC, ISPF, COBOL, C, DB2 and/or IMS.
