One of the leading companies in the New York, NY area has an immediate need for a full time PeopleSoft Lead Systems Tester.
The candidate will be developing and maintaining formal test plans and approaches to ensure delivery of quality functionality for PeopleSoft HRMS customizations, patches and upgrades. He/she will develop and manage test cases and plans for system, functional, stress, regression, smoke, integration, performance, load and user acceptance testing, track system defects with defect tracking tool and provide supporting reports and documentation.
Required:
. 3+ years experience creating testing deliverables that include Test Strategies, Cases and Scripts
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills (i.e. analysis, recreation and documenting the impact on the system overall
. 3+ years experience testing PeopleSoft 8.x configuration, new functionality, patches, fixes and upgrades
. Thorough knowledge performing data analysis using PeopleTools (SQR and SQL
. Functional knowledge of HR Benefits and payroll administration processes
. 3+ years experience testing legacy systems and 3rd party vendor interfaces
. 3+yrs experience using Rational Suite (Rational Functional Tester, Test Manager, Req Pro, Clear Case and Clear Quest
. Possess a thorough understanding of development and testing methodologies
. Experience with Peopletools, upgrade/patch testing, ERP Technical Architecture, and blackbox testing
. Masters degree in MIS, computer science, or related field from a recognized college or university
Preferred:
. Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementations
. Experience working with PeopleSoft Implementations in a government or civil service environment
. Excellent Communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal
. Organizational skills
. Experience working within a matrix environmen
