Experience: Job Description:
PM Consulting position to manage network infrastructure related projects. This IT Infrastructure PM will have solid experience in project management practices which includes the ability to structure work, define roles, delegate responsibilities, develop project tasks, schedules and plans.
The PM will demonstrate good judgment in identifying issues and recommending solutions to others and will have solid verbal and written communication skills. The individual should be a "technical" PM with expertise in hardware, networks, SAN's, IDS/IPS, NAS, etc.
. Lead small-to-medium cross-functional technology workgroups
. Serve as process advisor on cross-functional projects
. Participate on and/or lead service management projects
. Perform independent and group research into new technology and processes
. Manage the architecture, design, implementation, and evaluation of security-focused tools and services
Qualifications:
Candidates should have extensive experience with Network Infrastructure & Security implementations (active directory, LAN/WAN, Wireless). Foundry gear knowledge is desired.
. 5+ years experience managing infrastructure teams like systems administration, database administration, network administration or other infrastructure engineering and/or operational teams. Prior Project Management Experience specializing in network and/or security based projects.
. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or the equivalent combination of education
. Technical background in IT networks and understanding of network architecture and components (Application Integrity - Business Continuity Management - Identity & Access Management - Infrastructure & Operations Security - Privacy & Data Protection - Security Management - Vulnerability Management)
. Strong communication (written, oral, and presentation) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively on technical issues with non-technical personnel; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and across organizational boundaries are required.
. Well developed project management skills. PMP certification is a plus.
. Prior experience with implementation of ITIL processes. ITIL certification is a plus.
We will consider candidates who are semi local with the option to work on site 2-3 days a week and remote the other days as allowed. Reporting to Ajilon Program Manager.
Anticipate 6-9 months, possibly longer. Bill rate max of $100.
