The Media Technology group of McGraw-Hill Education/School Solutions Group has an immediate opening for a Producer in Reading/Language Arts to work in-house on a full-time project basis. Responsibilities: Project Management: Execute projects on time and on budget. Individual will assist in the direction, development, and production of various media/technology projects. Will manage vendor relationships, evaluate vendor performance, quality of work, and compliance with project specifications. Analyze project proposals and develop implementation plan, using a market-focused strategy. Manage vendor contracts and invoicing on assigned projects. Write and edit content as required. Ensure that all permissions issues are cleared with Production department prior to product launch. Manage all costs to ensure that project meets budget target. Communicate any potential problems to manage expectations within assigned business unit. Assist in solving programming and design issues that may jeopardize schedules. Requirements: Bachelor's degree is required Must possess at least 2 years of publishing or media experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills, are a must Must have experience with developing and/or producing digital products - such as websites, CD-ROM software, Flash assets, etc. Should be proficient in project management Must be proficient with Microsoft office product suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) The McGraw-Hill Companies is an equal opportunity employer
