Leading architecture level design.
Coordinating development of s/w systems that implement key competitive capabilities and infrastructure improvements.
Leading design and development efforts to meet business objectives while driving the overall architecture to improve system reliability and flexibility.
Document the technology vision & map key initiatives.
Work with business owners and PMO in development of project specifications/schedules.
Coordinate technical teams:
Managing compliance w/architectural standards and objectives, ensuring cross component interactions are well designed and effective, ensuring monitoring, recoverability, performance, and manageability requirements.
Provide expert cross component problem diagnosis.
Handle complex problems.
Required skills:
10+ years tech experience.
Hands on development & management of complex multi platform systems/software initiatives.
MUST HAVE SAP, SQL 2000, .net, and Oracle database.
Design, implementation, maintenance & operation of large n tier enterprise architectures.
Analyze and present complex software/systems architecture issues to technical & managerial staff.
Demonstrated ability to understand complex business reqs and translate into effective tech solutions.
Rapidly assess design trade offs, lead resolution of design differences b/t team and gain buy in/agreement from multiple parties.
Experience with at least 2 of the following types of systems:
Payment and fraud detection systems, inventory/fulfillment systems, and/or Internet retailing environments.
EAI products (.net) integration
Nice to have skills:
Ecommerce or retail industry experience is a plus.
Length: 12 month + W2 hourly contract
