Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and managing Summit Spectrum applications and ensuring that daily processing runs correctly. This position requires managing key applications, and working in conjunction with the business units to identify and fulfill their needs. The role involves business analysis and project management responsibilities, as well as designing, coding, and testing of assigned application changes and updates. This person will also provide 1st and 2nd level technical support and respond to all application related Helpdesk requests and serve as a liaison between end-users, vendors and IT. They should act as cross-trainer and backup to other areas of the IT Department when called to do so.

Experience: Essential Skills, Knowledge and Requirements
1. B.S. in Computer Science/Business Administration or 5-7 years of financial application support/consulting experience. 2 – 5 years Summit Spectrum experience preferred.
2. Familiarity with programming algorithms and standards.
3. Strong organizational and communication skills.
4. Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills.
5. Demonstrate high level understanding of installed applications and successful IT project delivery. Project management coursework valued.
Environmental / Physical / Mental Requirements
The Application Systems Analyst performs a major portion of their duties through verbal and written communications. It is critical that he / she possess the ability to communicate with clarity, while understanding and explaining complex situations to team members and outside contacts. Accuracy is essential and he / she must possess the ability to proof read documentation and correspondence to insure free of errors and fraud.
