A well known financial services company in the New York City area is looking for a Business Data Analyst.
The mission of the Global Product Administration Team is to be one high performing virtual team that delivers predictability of service and accuracy with regards to Product Launch and reference data and is also a dependable and trusted business partner within Customer Administration.
We are looking for a Analyst who will take responsibility for managing a one-time baseline synchronization of all our product definitions across systems. In parallel, supporting process improvement to prevent definitions from going out of sync again.
The role will be to analyze data, define and adhere to processes to ensure integrity of data across multiple administration systems.
The role focuses on global goals and remits while offering the exciting opportunity to work as part of a global virtual team with experts who share best practice and aid each other in developing and implementing new global solutions.
The role involves working with business owners and key stakeholders across the Thomson Reuters organization (such as Global Product Administration Teams globally, Entitlements Team and Product Team). The candidate's role is to primarily to lead analysis and reconciliation of data across core administration systems.
Experience: .compare product definitions across business systems to a gold master
.consolidate required changes - 1st level, 2nd level permission bits, downstream system routing specs
.submit paperwork through SOX approvals to make changes across systems
.collaborate with various teams to implement (Bangalore Entitlements, Product Master team, Siebel GPA team, SEA team)
.test changes post-implementation to ensure consistency with request
.coordinate communication & rollout of changes across existing installed base
1. Enthusiasm and ability to manage and implement projects
2. Strong analytical skills
3. Ability to work under pressure, against deadlines and think outside the box'
4. Knowledge of MS applications, such as Excel.
5. Ability to work across different teams.
