QA Lead (ACTIMIZE) in New York, NY

A well known financial services company is looking for a QA Leas with Actimize experience. Candidate must be able to travel outside of the US. Will be taking business trips 2-3 weeks at a times to Toronto.

The purpose of this role is leading QA resources to complete an implementation of a vendor application for the capital markets compliance group.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage/Lead QA (Functional) deliverables for TSS redevelopment Project activities within time and budget
Drive the completion of all testing activities including Detailed Test plan preparation, Test case preparation, Data preparation and variance tracking and resolution.
Provide QA estimates, schedule and other Project MGMT input required for QA activities
Identify risks and corresponding mitigation strategies to plan & budget
Address and clarify specifications with business users
Provide QA support to Actimize, BU, BSA and development teams during development, testing and implementation.
Participate in implementation planning, and post implementation validation for IT and support BU where needed on user validation.
Experience: Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience):
Technical Skills
5+ years of experience in leading group of testers; 6 person test team, augmented by additional BSA's where needed
5+ years SQL experience
5+ years of experience in trade surveillance functions (Control Room, Employee trade monitoring, Trade surveillance) and capital markets products and trade processes.
5+ years of experience with QA analysis and software development.
3+ years of Actimize application or development experience is an asset
Ability to work with a global business group and requirements
Expertise in managing various stakeholder expectations in delivering project deliverables.
Expertise in test planning, test case preparation and testing of data and applications.
Ability to understand data base models, data mapping, integration of data with the functional application.
Experience in working with large projects with multiple phases that may overlap
Strong Business System Analysis fundamentals and documentation skills
Expertise in coordinating QA activities during all phases of the project.
Business Knowledge
Expertise in trade surveillance functions (Control Room, Employee trade monitoring, Trade surveillance) and AML
Knowledge of global Securities industry and products
Advanced knowledge of North American and international securities trading and data related to complete trade life cycle.
Knowledge of capital markets compliance functions.
Knowledge of financial industry and functions.
