Description Our client, a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services, is seeking a FidCredit Risk Java developer. Fulltime position Location: New York , NY Bachelors Degree FID Credit group is looking for a senior Java developer to work in risk reporting area. The role involves all aspects of the software life cycle from requirement gathering from the business and analysis of the existing systems/functionality to design and implementation; all the way through to the production roll out and subsequent support. We need flexible candidates who are practical technologists who show excellent problem solving skills and enjoy all aspect of software development.The candidate will work closely with business users and other developers from Firm Market Risk Department and FID Risk group. SKILLS REQUIRED Solid computer science fundaments with strong hands-on coding skills in the following areas: Java (multi-threading) Database Unix SKILLS DESIRED Experience with ETL technologies Credit cash and derivatives business knowledge Development experience within a front office trading environment
