Senior Developer, Electronic Trading Technology
- Senior developer within the Global Electronic Trading Technology group - Algorithmic Trading, Smart Routing, Crossing, Client Connectivity, DMA, Market Access
- Maintain existing Electronic Trading components
- Design, architect, build and deploy a state of the art multi asset Global Electronic Trading platform
- Work close with key business and technology partners
- Position is inCapital Markets Electronic Trading Group - a challenging, fast paced, highly rewarding, growth area of the firm
Business
- Strong business knowledge, clear understanding and prior experience with Electronic Trading Systems.
- Good understanding and appreciation of overall knowledge of related Electronic Trading components including data dependencies (static, historical statistics), Booking, Reporting
- Detailed understanding of Equities products (Equities, Options)
- Knowledge of other Capital markets products - Futures, Fixed income products a plus
Technical
- Strong hands-on technical knowledge with a proven track record
- Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux
- Strong hands-on programming language skills - C++, Java
- Ability to work on both tactical and strategic projects.
- Experience with working on large scale, global, high performance, real-time, low latency, load balanced, fault tolerant systems.
- Broad knowledge and appreciation of technology to support to the EQ business.
- Experience with various design patterns
- Strong design & architecture skills
- Experience with trading framework components including messaging, state management, persistence, recovery, load balancing, highly desirable
- Experience in assortment of the following areas a big plus - Order management, Smart Routing, Client Connectivity, Exchange Connectivity, Algorithmic Trading, Crossing.
