We have an immediate need for a Senior JAVA Architect in Rochester, NY.
Required:
. BA/BS degree in computer-related field
. Minimum of seven years experience in software application design and development
. Java/J2EE architecture experience
. Web Services experience
. 5+ years experience participating and providing technical leadership on software development projects and teams
. Strong development experience with languages such as HTML, DHTML, XML, SQL, JSP, JSF
. Excellent understanding of coding methods, debugging, documentation, and best practices.
Preferred:
. Experience with Adobe technologies such as Flash, Flex or Adobe AIR
. High degree of competency in requirements gathering and process design
. Possess strong ability to partner, develop results-supporting relationships, and negotiate complex and often contentious issues and work through people to achieve goals.
. Modeling tools such as MS Visio, Enterprise Architect and ERWin
