UAT Project Manager

Our international financial services client located in Manhattan is seeking a manager with 8 plus years as a User Acceptance Testing Manager and about 15 plus years of experience dealing with Capital Markets. In this role, you will deal with finance, relevant IT groups, and various capital markets and work alongside front, middle, and back office to ensure consistent business requirements, key deliverables, dependencies, and risks. Must be highly organized and motivated, have a proven track record of UAT success in capital markets, and be able to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Work alongside IT groups to resolve issues across system boundaries.
- Arrange and facilitate working group meetings, including setting deadlines, meetings agendas, etc.
- Report and present on system performance and progress of issues resolution.
- Develop and manage UAT test plans.
- Coordinate the delivery of multiple IT solutions, as well as various test regions to ensure prompt delivery of projects.
- Manage script creation and test execution.
- Compile status reports.
- Ensure documentation of all user requirements.
- Continuous updating of support reference material.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- Experience and knowledge of QA life-cycle.
- Excellent financial (equity, operations, debt, securities) business knowledge.
- Influential problem solving, communication, and business analysis skills.
- Strong technical background in financial institutions.
- Project management in large IT projects.
- Ability to coordinate amongst IT, Equities, Finance, and Operations personnel.
- Ability to understand conceptual data flow between systems and how technology aids and hinders changes.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and handle multiple projects are essential.
- Project Management and/or Quality Analysts background are welcome.
- Third-Party working experience is a must.
- Worked with post-trade securities processing groups.
- Proven track record of delivering changes in management projects.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable speaking to investment banking professionals.
