Basic Function:
Provides overall project support to the operational areas within Deposit Product Services (DPS). On a project basis, participating in the definition of the users business requirements, and the design, development, and implementation of final projects. Performs routine analysis and research in support of business goals and strategies, implements modifications to solve routine problems. Assists in day-to-day support. This position is locared in the Central Balancing & Deposit Ops Department of Technology & Banking Operations.
Responsibilities:
On a project basis, perform the following responsibilities:
* Acts in a liaison capacity, assisting users in determining problems/issues. Analyzes information, determines feasible resolution and makes recommendations.
* Perform project related support to include analysis, documentation of business requirements, functional specifications or project management.
* Take an active role in projects impacting departments within the DPS environment.
* Participates in the development of project plans to include activities to be performed. Estimates time frame and effort, following all current standards and procedures and ensuring all efforts are properly documented.
* Develops test plans and scripts; perform clients integrated and system certification testing to ensure proper system functioning.
* Provides consultation services to clients, technicians, and bank departments on the maintenance and functioning of mainframe/PC-based systems.
Perform other projects/duties as requested by management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum two years mainframe/PC system experience
- Proven PC/mainframe skills
- Good analytical skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organization
