Leading global investment bank is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to join the technology team at their NYC headquarters for an excellent, long-term consultant opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for: *Quickly understanding portfolio systems, calculations and business requirements. *Participating in analysis, design and development of new functionality in portfolio systems, calculations and reporting. *Develop technical solutions, implement, test and deploy the solutions working independently and with other developers. To be successful in this role, you must possess: *7+ yrs of overall IT experience. *7-9 yrs of hands-on development experience with Java and Java related technologies. *4-6 yrs experience with RDBMS. *1-3 yrs experience with Informix. *Strong Server-side Java knowledge: Java/JDBC/XML skills. *Knowledge of WebLogic, Eclipse, or CVS environment would be a huge plus. *Knowledge of portfolio systems, calculations, and tools is essential.
