A well known Publishing company in the New York City area is looking for a Web Content Technical Writer.
Technical Writer must have a good understanding of Web Analytics, content management, and content delivery for a temporary position writing functionality specifications and creating analytics reports.
Responsibilities:
The person in this role will work on two projects within the custmer experience area.
-Facilitate business requirements gathering and write functionality specifications and business rules for automated content delivery.
-Working with sitewide search manager and web analytics
team, define and design Omniture report for consumption by customer experience specialists, content creators, and senior management.
Experience: Job Qualifications:
Excellent writing skills including an ability to write clear, unambiguous documentation (bring samples)
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Creative and flexible problem-solving with an eye toward feasibility
Experience eliciting and organizing business requirements
Equal fluency in techno-speak and layman's terms
Familiarity with web publishing and content management systems (Interwoven Teamsite experience is highly desirable)
Knowledge of online search best practices
Experience with Omniture or similar web analytics systems is required
Experience creating management reports and executive summaries
