CDI is looking for a Systems Management Specialist (Microsoft and Linux enviornment)
Job Description:
Technical lead designing and implementing enterprise wide technical solutions in a Microsoft Environment and Linux Environment.
Strong understanding of Microsoft ISA solution implementation and troubleshooting
Administration support in Linux and Microsoft 2000, and 2003.
Troubleshooting experience in a High availability in Linux and Microsoft environments
Strong Understanding of Clustering Technologies.
Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, UDP protocols. Expert knowledge in one of the following: PERL, C, Python, shell scripts (bash/csh/sh).
Monitor and maintain maximum system performance levels
Monitor system capacity making appropriate recommendations to management on hardware/software upgrades or additions
Experience with web development including ASP.NET and C# or VB.NET, Java script is a plus.
Provide Level 3 7x24 on call support and escalation in different Microsoft and Linux applications.
Webserver administration: Apache (or derivatives), IIS
Application server administration: WebSphere Application Server, Weblogic is a plus
LDAP Administration: For integration with application servers
Content Management: Vignette 7.3.1
OS administration: Intermediate skills (AIX/Solaris/Linux/Windows)
TCP/IP: Intermediate knowledge
