Leading global investment bank is seeking a sharp Senior Programmer Analyst to join the technology team at their New York City headquarters for a long-term consultant project. In this role, you will work both independently and with a team of other developers in an effort to develop technical solutions, implement, test and deploy the solutions and create the required technical documentation. You will work with all levels of users and will be required to quickly understand portfolio systems, calculations and business requirements. To be successful in this role, you must possess: *7+ yrs of overall IT experience. * 4-6 yrs of hands-on experience with Perl and Unix. Including writing system utilities using Perl and Unix shell. *A strong background in SCM (software configuration management), CVS, software build management, software packaging and defect tracking.
