Experience: Midtown Manhattan client seeks experienced IT professional for a Consult to Hire situation with them. Probable conversion after 3-4 months. They desire: Microsoft Server administration (preferably 2 years experience); X-server (preferably 2 years experience); Basic understanding of active directory, DHCP, DNS; Strong customer service skills; Basic understanding of networking and backup technologies. The main focus is strong Wintel hardware and AD skills and a good knowledge of the Mac X-server, OSX and the utilities such as Net Octopus. Having a valid passport would be a great plus.
