Major global investment bank is seeking a leader in Quality Assurance to join the Testing team at their Midtown Manhattan headquarters for an great consultant assignment. A new Wealth Management Reporting application that will consolidate brokerage and individual brokerage management information is being developed and you will play a key role in the system's performance testing. The project goal is to create a single view, consolidating multiple accounts and assets for the purpose of reporting data and performance accurately to their clients. You must be able to able to manage multiple project initiatives aimed at achieving this goal. In this role, you must be able to provide clear testing scope and objectives for each initiative and meet deadlines while implementing best practices throughout the development life cycle. To be successful in this role, you must possess: *4-6 yrs QA/IT experience in the financial industry. *1-3 yrs QA experience in Hedge Funds. *1-3 yrs experience in Shell Scripting, Source Safe and VB Scripting would be a huge plus. *QA/QC certification is a definite plus. *An extensive knowledge of SDLC, SQL queries, and standard testing practices and protocols.
